Moon
I really enjoyed this 10th book in the New Species series by Laurann Dohner! While I have really loved all the books in the series this one has earned its place as my favorite.Moon was shot by a tranquilizer dart in the previous book (book 9) and in this book we learn what exactly happened to him after. Since the attack and Moon being shot we learn he has lost basically all his humanity and became all beast and super aggressive. He does not show any sign of recognizing anyone and for that reason must be confined.
Joy is called in as a last ditch effort to try to help Moon as his fellow New Species remember he had deep feeling for her before when she was his psychologist after his release from Mercile.
This book was so well written with lots of action, romance, steamy sex, and trials and tribulations. Because this book mainly focused on Moon and Joy almost the entire book we get very in-depth in their lives and relationship. You become invested in both their lives and can't help but root for them both.
I highly suggest you read this series im order. I believe each book can be read as a stand alone however there are many characters from previous books in this one as well as all the other books.
I am excited and not so patiently awaiting the next book in this series! A definite 5 stars for this book. Laurann Dohner is an extremely talented author and her books are so well written you find yourself emotionally attached to the main characters and the world they live in comes so alive you feel as if you are their with them. Bravo Laurann!
